All our dinnerware is made of clay locally sourced in Portugal where all of our pieces are handmade. This yields organic forms unique to each piece. Thanks to the reactive glaze, variations in coloring and speckling are to be expected & we find beauty in the varying tones. Please expect each piece to be truly one of a kind.
We absolutely love these bowls. We've used them for pasta so far, but look forward to using them for individual soup and rice bowls. Highly recommended!
I have the plates in the slate color too and given the depth this bowel almost feels like a darker blue - it's beautiful!
We use these all the time for our go-to dinner bowls. Rice bowls, taco bowls etc etc. It's roomy enough to hold a big pile of veggies on rice, doesn't feel crowded at all, but simultaneously not too big either. I really think this is the perfect larger portion bowl. We ordered in the Apricot color and it's just beautiful. Would highly recommend!
I purchased the guava color and each time I use this usefully sized bowl, I’m thrilled how well veggies pop against the muted pink color. It’s a great constraint for salads and broccoli, but also makes boring sides like smashed potatoes or roasted cauliflower look special. Great size, great color, great weight. I eyed this bowl for months and snapped it up during a sale. Not disappointed!
