All our dinnerware is made of clay locally sourced in Portugal where all of our pieces are handmade. This yields organic forms unique to each piece. Thanks to the reactive glaze, variations in coloring and speckling are to be expected & we find beauty in the varying tones. Please expect each piece to be truly one of a kind.
I am trilled with the look and feel of the cups. They do get quite warm with hot tea making it tricky to hold. I plan to hand wash to maintain their beauty! Will definitely be ordering more from Kinn.
They are so beautiful. I didn't need any more mugs, but I couldn't resist. I planned to use them with my espresso machine, but they don't fit under the spout on my Barista Express, which would have been ideal for a nice latte. Without the handle, it is a little hot to handle when the coffee is freshly pressed. I am ecstatic how well they pair with my other stoneware.
